It is not boring at all to look closely, the intricate and fascinating case design, and rare attention to detail and decoration. It's not that simple anymore either, as we do see a range of innovative and complex models emerge. Heck, it even spawned the most complex AP in history! The brand has made that clear from day one; Code 11.59 is a collection that houses all of Audemars' expertise in haute horlogerie and haute horlogerie. Minute repeater, perpetual calendar, grande sonnerie, tourbillon chronograph, now a watch with no less than 23 complications. It was even used to bring back the iconic StarWheel concept.

Time to look at the latest iteration with an open mind, without prejudice or negativity. Time to weigh the pros and cons objectively, or better yet, check it out for yourself before passing judgment and spreading negativity. If you don't like it in the end, that's okay too. But there's absolutely no need to discard it because you don't feel a connection to it. For the most part, never seen a metal watch once...
